No New Posts xx Raven's Nest bar and grill


Once an old homeless recovery center, this bar and grill is the only fully functioning food service station in all of Magick. Often hiring hunters and gatherers to keep their food supply up, you can count on them to serve you if you've got the coin to spare. It is an older building, brick and wood though most of the parts that were wood have been scorched with fire from the war. Lacking electricity the bar and grill relies upon torches and candles when night falls, and open windows during the day for its light source. The bar is located to the far left side of the building, having scavenged parts from the old Night Club it can serve you a drink, for a hefty price, alcohol does not come cheap.

Nestled on main street between two large pine trees sits an old rustic looking building. There are parking spaces for you to park your car, and hitching posts for the occasional horse rider. Inside lovely wooden tables and chairs dot the pale hardwood floor. Along the wall are old ranch brands and hand painted pictures. The covers have a beautiful maroon napkins and plates with a flower design on them. The kitchen is stark white with one cook, but man can he cook!

This is where most of the town's houses are located. This is the good part of town. But also keep in mind these are more expensive, if you can't afford these you will be stuck with your apartment. But if you can afford a house you can fix it up anyway you want.

No New Posts xx Abandoned Warehouse[/b]


On the far south side of town, in the darker neighborhood, sits an old rusty warehouse. All of it's windows are either broken, or cracked, some are even missing entirely. Some ask why this large, once productive, building was abandoned. No one answered because the building it's self answers the question. Around every single door and window, air vent eve, are large gouges and scratches, slashes in the metal. This is a hazardous place, but some thrill seekers enjoy messing with the machinery.

-- The Convenience Store
This is a place they call 'the rooms'. This is the dangerous part of town, so these rooms aren't high tech or fancy. These rooms are simply a bare white room with a bed, bathroom, and garbage can. The locks on the doors barely work, so you don't really have any privacy here.

This is the graveyard on the very outskirts of the town. There are grave stones ranging from flat foot stones to fancy five foot tall stones. In the center of the yard is a statue of an angel. There is an old, creepy looking grave keeper that lives in the shack on the edge of the graveyard. He has a bad white hair comb over and always wears coveralls. You can't kill him. Why? Because he is immortal.

Even though Magic is a small town they have a small one story hospital complete with a delivery center and an emergency room. They have doctors and nurses, even a front desk. Everything is run and organized like a large hospital. Many wonder why a small town like this would have it's own hospital, however what most people don't know is that this town is set so far away from others that it would take to long for one to get the hospital in the case of an emergency. The hospital is a large white building with sliding automatic glass doors and a shiny interior. The people are nice and the doctors responsible.

This is a park not three blocks from the school. It is named after the great count Carol, owner of the castle on the hillside. In the center is a large pond, ducks enjoy swimming here. There are willow trees, benches, bird seed containers, and a statue of the count himself.

Hidden in the woods behind Carol Park is an old looking building. From the outside and entrance it looks degraded and destroyed. However the place is an abandoned laboratory and training facility. Power still runs through parts of the building due to its hydro-power water wheel placed in the Salmon River. The place is complete with labs, testing room, swimming pool, exercise lab, patient rooms, cafeteria, and race track. The perfect place for someone to pick a room and stash their own stuff, or perform a few experiments of their own. There are a few specialty rooms many visitors enjoy. These include the shooting range, sound proof rooms, botanical garden, prototype room, virtual scenario room, and the rooms of true tests. The rooms of true tests are rooms that form into any sort of test the person wishes to go through, most often used for exercise routines.

-- The Ballroom
This is Carol Castle, it was built way back when. When the first vampires showed up in Magic. It's corridors have long, violet carpets running the entire lengths, trimmed in Maroon. Old pictures line the walls, tapestries show up in several of the rooms as well. The rooms include the Ballroom, Dinning Room, Great Hall, Guest Bedrooms, Master Bedroom, Kitchens, Bathrooms, and the Games room. The Games room is a large room with chess, checkers, and other older games. In the center of the courtyard is a huge statue, and fountain of a dragon.

This is the Salmon River, back in the old days when the earth was still very cold salmon populated the river. But now a day the fish that populate the river are the Grayling, Rainbow trout, and Brown trout. You only see the Salmon in the fall, and even then they are hardly seen. The water is cold, year around, and in the winter it freezes at the top and when it freezes the ice is very, very thick, perfect for ice skating.

These are the Mining Tunnels, a place not to far from Carol Castle. Inside you can find mine carts and old equipment. This place is dark, creepy with a strange, damp and cool draft. Makes a pretty good hiding spot, as well as a hang out.

This is Magic Falls, where the town of Magic got it's name. It is quite a hike to get here but if you stand in the town square you can see the waterfall that starts near the top of the mountain and ends in a deep crystal clear blue pool. In summer the trees are a brilliant green and you can see birds and butterflies around the falls, making it seem alive. During really sunny days you can see a rainbow, giving the falls a sense of magic. During winter part of the falls freeze straight down to the pool, makes a great slide if you are a dare devil. The river that 'feeds' the Waterfall is called the Salmon river, so as a hint what type of fish are found in the river? Salmon. One of the unique qualities of Magic Falls is the hot springs that feed it at the top, small pools that are clear as could be small streams attach those pools to the falls, the temperatures range from hot to warm.

The Ghost Hollow is a lower portion of the valley Magic is located in. This place is found south, south east of the towns farthest south point. Most people ask why they call this place Ghost Hollow, ad the answer is more complicated than you would think. This lush green hollow has a warm water creek passing right through the center, during cold days mist forms, and with the air currents the mist forms strange shapes. There are also reports of ghostly shapes and voices, so watch your back.
